Bulgogi Marinated Mushrooms

Serves 2

 

Sesame oil

½ pound of mushrooms – we used oyster mushrooms

2 green onions

1 Garlic clove 

Sesame seeds 

¼ cup of Seoul Bulgogi Sauce

 

Finely chop garlic

Chop green onions, separating the white and green pieces

Roughly chop the mushrooms 

 

Pour all but 1 Tbs of Bulgogi on the mushrooms and marinate for 10 minutes

 

Heat a small amount of sesame oil in a pan. Once hot, add the garlic and white bottoms of the scallions. Sautee until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the marinated mushrooms and cook, stiring occassionally until soft and starting to brown, about 7 minutes. Add the last Tbs of Bulgogi and mix for another minute. Top with green and sesame seeds. 

 

Great as a side dish on its own, in rice bowls or lettuce wraps.
