ABOUT TRISTAN

Tristan was born in Hawaii but spent most of his childhood in Oregon. When it came time to pick a college, Tristan decided to escape the rain and set off for Arizona State University, swearing he’d never return to rainy Oregon. After earning his Business degree, he worked in food & beverage sales and commercial real estate in California before coming full circle and joining the family business back in Oregon in 2012.When Tristan is not working he enjoys traveling to sunnier parts of the world with his wife and son.

Kimchi Spam Fried Rice

1 Tbs vegetable oil
1 medium onion
2 garlic cloves, crushed
6 oz. spam, cubed Spam (your fav protein)
¼ stick of butter
1 teaspoon of low sodium Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon of Sesame Seed Oil
½ cup of Seoul Kimchi, chopped
3 cooked cups day-old rice
2 eggs
2 tablespoons of Kimchi Hot Sauce Spicy
Chopped Green Onion for garnish

Heat oil in a pan, once hot add onion, garlic and spam, cooking until browned – about 4 minutes. Once browned, mix in Kimchi, cooking for 1 minute. Scramble in two eggs, then add rice and butter and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes. Add in Kimchi hot sauce, sesame seed oil and soy sauce to taste. Top with green onions.
